Prosecco van spumante kwaliteit, wat inhoudt meer druk op de fles en dus meer bubbels. De benaming "Extra Dry" kan misschien wat verwarrend zijn maar staat voor een iets hogere dosage dan bij een brut. In deze prosecco is het 15g/l. Heerlijke fruitige wijn met zachte bubbels en een ronde zachte afdronk.

Kleur:

Heldere zacht gele kleur, met mooie bubbels die gelijkmatig opstijgen in het glas.

Geur:

Fris, fruitig met veel citrus, appel en peer in de neus. Ook een hint van rijpe perzik, granaatappel en wat meloen. Lichte florale toets.

Smaak:

Heel lichtvoetig met veel vers geel fruit zoals citrus, perzik en meloen. De mousse is zacht en verfijnd. Licht romig met een heel klein zoetje maar hier wordt mooi weerstand aan geboden door het bittertje in de afdronk. Zuren zijn aanwezig maar ragfijn en de alcohol is eigenlijk niet aanwezig.

Beschrijving:

Mooi gemaakte Prosecco. Waarbij de Glera druif (vroeger werd deze prosecco genoemd) als lichte witte wijn wordt gevinifieerd en daarna in RVS tanks wordt bewaard totdat de wijn via de tankmethode (Charmat) aan zijn bubbels komt. Hierdoor blijft er heel veel fruit behouden, nadeel: direct drinken! Lekker als aperitief of bij wat licht fingerfood.

Friuli-Venezia Giulia

This wine region is the most northern-east located region in Italy. It borders Austria in the north, and Slovenia in the east. Although the region can be divided into several smaller sub-regions, the most known ones are the Prosecco and Friuli-Grave region. It produces many single varietal wines (made of only one grape variety), mostly of the internationally known kinds such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc but also more indigenous varieties such as Friulano and Refosco. This region has the most DOC and DOCGs in the whole of Italy.
